Emily Davenport has lived in Michigan for nearly 12 years. She spent most of her childhood in Coralville, Iowa, but by age 11 her family moved to West Michigan. From 2010-2011 she spent her senior year of high school at Interlochen Arts Academy, studying creative writing. She now attends Grand Valley State University, studying creative writing, and lives with her boyfriend Charles and their cat Peek-a-boo.
